These graphs are awesome. I think this is a newer one than most that i've seen. It's really good at showing how much benefit efficiency could have.

Holy crap! This graph was in a presentation at the Mascaro Center today! Also, I've seen a bunch of variations on this such as the amount of energy from coal in a power plant down to the end user or the amount of energy in a volume of crude oil down to the end user. Basically, they're all a) beautiful and b) show that the three focus areas are production, transmission, and end user.
