Post Retirement & Sustainability
What does retirement look like in a sustainable world, or what could it look like? Does it exist? Are there pensions/SS for some/all/none?

(I've been reading a lot about funding crises with Port Authority, which spends ~40% of its expenses on pensions and retirement costs, and it's an issue that's come up elsewhere. I'm also generally interested in sustainable economics).
