Here's a mini Daily Maile article on the kid (he's only 18!) who made a solar panel using hair instead of silicon. There's not much info, but the biggest issue is that he claims Edison as his hero instead of Tesla.
Yups I am having solar panels over my house roofs.But the severe problem I am facing from is it needs to be cleaned thrice in a month.But now its going hectic for me to clean it in summer time.Used already long brushes to clean distance dirts stagged on to the roof not ever tried the hairy panels anyways its seems to good one.
