To help maintain some sense of dignity, and to allow for a certain level of expected moderation:
1. Don't be a dick. That is, don't yell at people without saying anything, don't call people names or use ad hominem arguments, and don't type in all caps LIEK THIS.
2. Keep cursing to a minimum. While I am aware that there are passionate people discussing passionate topics on here, cursing which is done to be insulting, bigoted, or stereotypical is not allowed. Take it somewhere else.
3. Be prepared to back up anything you say with sources, particularly if you say anything particularly antagonistic.
4. Random Forum is not a place for piles of trash. There are other places on the net for that.
5. There are no stupid questions - only people who reply as if there were.
Things seen to be violating these rules will be deleted or edited.

I can't really make rules regarding screennames and avatars, but try to keep them a) real and/or b) decent.
